Can I give them 10 stars? Where do I begin? Our pool was not only a dream for our family but a necessity for physical rehab. We also envisioned our home/pool to be a gathering place and, in the future, a destination to be the “fun grandparent” household. The planning stages with John K. were informative (he is a good listener). He even attended a variance hearing where he spoke to our council. Jon O, then became our Project Manager and is an incredible gem! His people (Joe, CJ, Jack, and Jack) are ALL skilled, caring and clear communicators. Jon O. made sure we knew who was going to be on the property and when. He brought in competent subcontractors when needed to be sure everything went smoothly. Jon also took the time (always) to explain the various processes and why. Jon doesn't manage the project from afar but is hand's-on! We originally sought 3 estimates, and Specialty Pools were the best prepared and most responsive. They were also reasonable ($) and worked within budget. The change orders were very minimal (less than 1% of the overall budget)! The pool was ready on the date originally promised. Specialty Pools has skilled and caring people that we now trust (a lot) with future pool decisions/work and an ongoing relationship (winterize, etc.). The end result was an AMAZING pool that was more than what we thought it ever could have been. I have already recommended them in our neighborhood. Specialty made our pool dream come true, without it being scary or crazy! Thank you!

Almost 20 years ago Scott Wicks and his team built our pool They put the filter system in, the electronic cover & did all the concrete work as well. 20 years later the pool almost looks as good as new. The pebble tech bottom is still spectacular and we’ve only needed to replace the motor and the filter system one time throughout the 20 years! Which I think is pretty phenomenal Every time we call them for service it’s immediate, the job is always completed on time & on budget Can’t thank him & his team enough who just always do a great job allowing our family to enjoy a magnificent pool on the Chesapeake Bay!

Great experience with Specialty & Fountain. The pool renovation process was new for us, but the team was incredibly helpful walking us through each step and answered any questions we had. We couldn't be happier with the pool and I would highly recommend them for your next pool project!

Great experience from start to finish. The crew was very knowledgeable and professional. I had a ton of questions which I am sure frustrated them but they answered them all promptly and genuinely cared that they were answered. The pool is enjoyed almost year round as they hooked us up with a very savvy way to heat the pool quicker and save money at same time. Glad I chose them to build the pool and spa - if ever again I will not hesitate to give Scott and the boys a call.

Zero stars would be more appropriate. They installed a pool for me and EVERYTHING went wrong. Plaster had to be redone, the concrete looks terrible, heater leaked (a bent heat exchanger - makes me think it wasn't a new unit), etc. It took a full year for them to finally get things right. They tried to overcharge me numerous times and by the end, they were hostile. Do not use them.

They do NOT support residential fountains / water features though the website clearly states they do. "Specialty Pool & Fountain is the industry source for the construction, renovation, repair and maintenance needs for residential swimming pools, fountains and water features." - might want to get that updated.
